Mary McCormack, an American actress, is best known for playing the lead role in TV series like 'The West Wing, "In Plain Sight," as well as Loaded.' Mary McCormack is known for her roles in the movies 'Private Parts,' 'Deep Impact, True Crime and 1408. Born to a clinical therapist and an ice cream store proprietor, McCormack hails from a family with no direct links to the world of entertainment. In the wake of separation from her parents, McCormack went to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In 1990, after graduating from Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA, she graduated. The path she took to success began at the young age of 12, when she appeared in a stage version of the Christmas musical "Amahl and The Night Visitors'. In the course of her work in theatre, McCormack eventually was cast in roles on the film and television. McCormack nowadays is recognized for one of the best known and most versatile performers. In her marriage to producer and director Michael Morris, she has three children.
