Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden is the third child of five brothers born to La Jolla on 14 August 1959. Beverly Bushfield is her mother, worked as a housewife, while Thad Harold harden was working in the Army. Her family moved frequently. When they lived in Greece, she became interested in theater, and she attended Athens shows. Harden began her college education at American colleges in Europe but returned to the US to pursue her study in the University of Texas in 1983 followed by an MFA at NYU, and, thereafter began her acting career. Although she had acted in a movie in 1986 in a film that was not widely known, The Imagemaker (1986), her debut role in the mainstream which was in conjunction with TV film work, was a sultry femme fatale in The Imagemaker, the Coen Brothers' cleverly offbeat tribute to the film of the same name, Miller's Crossing (1990). Harden was praised by critics for her stunning performance as Verna. Harden continued to work in support roles. Her role was Ava Gardner, a TV biopic based on Frank Sinatra. Marcia Marcia Marcia
