Jill Hennessy
The Edmonton native is with a mix of Irish, Italian and Swedish roots, along with French Ukrainian, French, and Swedish. The twin of Jacqueline is an actress as well. Jill was able to learn different languages, like Italian, French, Spanish when she was growing as a child. At the age of twelve, of age, Jill started to get interested in with acting. In Toronto the city she was born, she began her career as an actress in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. She played an escort alongside her twin sister. In the following years, she was studying improv at Second City with Deb Kimmet. The actress relocated to New York two years later and was offered a contract to play the role of an Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit long-running series Law & Order. Also, she was a part of films like RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) over the course of her three-year stint. She was a part of a handful of dull films throughout the next several years before securing a starring part in the 1999 miniseries uremberg which was co-produced by Alec Baldwin. Roles in major productions including Autumn in New York and Exit Wounds followed. She landed a lead role on NBC's crime show Crossing Jordan. And in 2007 for her work to the series she was honored with a Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding female lead in a drama Series". Her husband was another actor Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. Together, they have two children. In 2007 She was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame.
